Deliveries, Returns & Refunds Policy

DELIVERIES POLICY 

Deliveries are at the company’s discretion and the company may decide to stop or withhold the delivery service in general or from a particular order in which case any payment amount clearly indicated to be a delivery charge will be reimbursed at the original rate.  The Company will not accept any liability for indirect expenses or costs. 

Unless otherwise stated in this policy or any other written or agreed medium, the Company will cover delivery costs for deliveries of orders in excess of 20€ to the island of Malta.  Orders of under 20€ are not eligible for free delivery and their collection has to be coordinated by the buyer with the Company. 

Delivery dates and times are set by the Company according to its exigencies.  At least 24 hours before an item is delivered, the buyer will be notified by text message and about 15 minutes before the delivery time, the buyer will be reminded by phone.  Should the buyer not be in a position to respond to the call, or to receive the item for any reason, the delivery opportunity will be exhausted and the buyer will be responsible for collecting the item.  At this point, the company will not be held liable for the availability, fitness or expiry of the unreceived goods.  The Company will attempt delivery only once. 

In order to minimize the traffic impact and to reduce CO2 emissions, the company may decide to do deliveries during evenings (before 2100), or on weekends including Sundays and public holidays. 

COLLECTIONS 

Collections have to be individually coordinated by the buyer with the Company.  Since the Company does not operate a regular schedule with regular opening hours, collections may vary in both time and location.  Missed collections do not entitle the buyer for any benefits or rights. 

RETURNS & RETURNS POLICY 

The majority of the goods sold by the Company are highly perishable items that have been sterilized and manufactured with great care in order to ensure their quality.  Most of the products also include user guides or instructions either descriptive or illustrative.  Should the Company understand or have suspicion that the buyer did not use the purchased goods according to the suggested instructions, returns will not be accepted and replacements will not be offered. 

In addition, given that the behavior of living organisms (such as for mushroom kits or similar) is not completely predictable, equal success rates cannot be guaranteed.  Therefore, the Company reserves the right to treat claims on a case-by-case basis and act only when it deems its product to be genuinely defective and when accompanied by the batch sticker attached to the kit. 

Replacements, might be identical or else of a similar nature to the defective good being replaced, but of the same value. 

Unless otherwise agreed, these terms apply to all orders irrespective of their size of the frequency of purchase.
