Mushrooms can tolerate a very wide range of light levels, starting from full light to dim light to artificial light.  Our indication is to keep the kit out of direct sun and in enough light to be able to read the instructions.  Minimal light is important as it serves as one of the main catalysts to start mushroom production.

The second most important matter is climate. Mushroom kits are living organisms and so generally need to breath fresh air.  Do not enclose and do not leave in a spot that gets very warm, such as a washroom on the roof or on a window sill.  Kits are to be grown preferably indoors so that we can create an ideal climate for the kit to carry out its function.
