Italian oyster mushroom spawn is one of the easiest to use! It grown well on our Coco Mix but also on other clean substrates.
This product is produced strictly on back-order to ensure maximum viability and purity. The substrate is supplied in a 450g bag with a 2 micron filter and NO injection ports.
Mushroom spawn is a medium that is used to boost mycelium vigour before it is expanded into the substrate. Spawn is not like spores. The spore is the means mushrooms sexually reproduce while spawn is a hydrated and sterilized cereal grain that is used to carry a clone version of the mother mycelium. Spawn is generally easier to grow than spores.
